Effective Date: January 1, 2025
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) messaging for internal staff. By using the 2FA system, employees agree to comply with these terms to ensure secure access to company systems.
2. Purpose of 2FA Messaging
The 2FA system is implemented to enhance security by verifying employee identities during login attempts. It is mandatory for accessing certain company systems and resources.
3. Employee Responsibilities
- Employees must keep their registered authentication devices (e.g., phone, email) secure.
- Employees must not share one-time passcodes (OTPs) with anyone.
- Any unauthorized access attempts or security concerns must be reported to IT/security immediately.
4. Use of 2FA Data
- The company collects and processes phone numbers, email addresses, OTPs, and authentication logs solely for security purposes.
- 2FA messages are for authentication only and should not be used for any other purpose.
5. Security and Compliance
- The company implements encryption and other security measures to protect 2FA data.
- Employees must comply with company security policies when using authentication systems.
6. Service Availability
While we strive for uninterrupted service, 2FA messaging may be subject to occasional downtime due to system maintenance or external provider issues. Employees should report any persistent issues to IT.
7. Changes to Terms
The company reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as needed. Employees will be notified of significant changes.
